In his research the edge, Gaëtan Rusquet explores ways of dealing with liminal spaces, and what one would consider as the inside and the outside of the body. During a one-year period, he explored the frontiers between the individual and the group, the personnal and the collective. Delving deeper into studies of holistic healing technics, hypnosis and ‘fouloscopy’ (the studies of crowds), he seeks for practices that challenge our beliefs. These experiences were the feeding ground for sound experiments with long-time collaborator Yann Leguay and improvisations with performers, dancers and artists who worked around similar subjects.
