What binds us to our environment/«milieu», including the human, and also the non-human? What are the intentions, for what and for whom are we creating? Is it for stones, humans, plants, satellites?
This laboratory is born from the desire to share and investigate theses practices and questions in performance situations, and more broadly in creative situations, and to do so, by bringing together artists from different backgrounds. There’s a need to meet and seek together, how to work differently, through the sharing of common or divergent interests and the pooling of knowledge.
en reconnaissance is at the same time the desire to explore new territories, but also the desire to rediscover those we have forgotten, those already present in the body. It is the desire to name and address attention to what is little or not perceived. And to observe this double movement, external and internal, of exploration and return to an already existing knowledge.
After being part of the Dance for plants collective in 2017 and 2018, Gaëtan is collaborating with artist Lucille Calmel on the research project Performance and animalities. At the same time, he is looking for different ways perceive the world, by reaching modified states of consciousness thanks to the study of healing technics and the participation in rituals of different natures. This in order to transform the perception of the body and its limits and the way we relate to what surrounds us, human or not.
