Workshop: avec le flux

avec le flux

Dance and energy healing workshop

(With the flux)
To return to the present moment, to be with what is experienced, to be with what perceives, to be with what is perceived.

WAS IS IT
Avec le flux is a workshop led by Anne Koch and Gaëtan Rusquet linking dance and energy healing. These three days will be an opportunity to inhabit the present moment through movement and dance, in an approach of care, healing and more broadly the pleasure of being in the world. But also as a way of inhabiting reality in a playful way. Anne and Gaëtan wish to share their tools and practices to meet the body, its experiences, memories and beliefs. And create a space of support, in the encounter of what needs to be perceived, highlighted and set in motion. We will meet what is witnessed, what says “I know, this is what is experienced”. Paying our attention to the flows means giving room to the fluid element - water - and the element which contains it - space itself -. It is also feeling the qualities of a place, its terrain, its currents and memories. It's feeling and honoring the forces that set us in motion and choreograph us. Whether it flows naturally or it gets stuck.

HOW
By coming back to the body, and, through a double movement, both diving into the experience, our feelings, our darkness, what is happening at the very moment, and simultaneously, opening up to reality and this which we perceive as external, other, and yet deeply intimate to us. We will also encounter what does not move, what is always there: perception itself.

This through dance, guided meditations and improvisations, somatic practices such as authentic movement, active mediations inspired by ecosexual feminists, active meditations inspired by Osho, practices of the collective “dance for plants.”, resonating with, tasting space, and more. We will take care of “being with”: with our body, our sensations, emotions and memories, whether pleasant or unpleasant, without judgment. But also anything calling to be perceived, felt, experienced: the present moment, a plant, gravity, space itself… This rather than taking care of the "for": dancing to improve, to free oneself , to become a better version of oneself, etc… This mind which gives us missions and takes us out of the present moment, which places us in the projection of what is not and puts us in suffering.

We will practice somatic approaches related to the work of Benoît Lachambre, to clean up the energy channels, by setting in motion areas that we consider fixed, from the sacrum to the fontanelle, to regain flexibility, circulation, porosity with the world. We will start from anchoring to the ground and from what flows through the body. How to let yourself go through and honor this movement. The use of feet and hands as pillars, interfaces with the world that can capture, soften, link and clean energy circuits. We will use vibration, oscillation, shaking, and seek to listen to possible resonances, which they are internal or external. these practices will be guided, solo, or in a duo or trio.

We will slow down, and in this infinite and slow movement, we will attempt to change the referents of the movement, and what initiates it.
Is it my foot pushing into the ground to elevate me, or is it the ground growing into it?
Is it my lungs filling up, or is it the outer space emptying into my lungs?
Do I observe and hold the world at a distance with my gaze, or am I intimate with the world by touching it with my eyes?

Can I let myself be carried by the space, with confidence, and feel that this full space carries me and welcomes me?

Can I feel part of this flow? That I am constantly transforming?

INTENTIONS
anchor yourself in the body - anchor yourself in space itself - come back to yourself through movement - find flexibility with yourself and in relation to others through movement - trust gravity - trust our soil - take care of desire and its movement - trust our sky - calm the mind, calm the astral by allowing its movement - let go of blockages and beliefs create a space where the “I” does not need to be solved or improved - to be with that which perceives - be with what is there - honoring what is present through dance - cultivate kindness towards ourselves and others, towards what surrounds us and passes through us - find or renew a pleasure of being in the world through dance - learn by accompanying other bodies, through look, touch, movement, attention - honor what binds us.
